The Void Club skapar interdisciplinär och gränsöverskridande scenkonst. Teater och dans blandas med konstformer som cirkus, performance och bildkonst. Målet är att skapa starka audiovisuella verk som berör. Kompaniet dras till det som gör ont och skaver, det feminina och queera, det konstiga och absurda. Som en av grundarna och konstnärlig ledare för The Void Club hoppas Jennifer Löfgren hitta nya och spännande sätt att arbeta med cirkus. Jennifer är regissör, utbildad vid Stockholms konstnärliga högskola 2021–2024.
Föreställningen METALMORPHOSIS arbetas fram i samarbete med artisterna Alva Harju och Vilma Suuraho och är ett experimentellt scenkonstverk som granskar mötet mellan människa och metall. Cirkus blandas med fysisk teater och performance. Genom bland annat en cykel, burar och cyr-hjul utforskas människans ångest och kontrollbehov.

Project: METALMORPHOSIS
The Void Club creates interdisciplinary and boundary-crossing performing arts, blending theatre and dance with art forms like circus, performance art and visual arts. The goal is to produce emotional and audiovisually striking pieces. The company are drawn to what hurts and aches, the feminine and queer, the strange and absurd. As one of the founders and artistic leaders of The Void Club Jennifer Löfgren hopes to find new and exciting ways to work with circus. Jennifer is a director educated at Stockholm University of the Arts 2021–2024.
The show METALMORPHOSIS will be created in collaboration with artists Alva Harju och Vilma Suuraho and is an experimental performance exploring the encounter between the human body and metal. Circus meets physical theatre and performance art. Through objects like a bike, cages and the cyr-wheel, our angst and need for control are explored.
