Open Call Cirkusresidens

Vi utlyser två veckors residens våren 2022 på Cirkuskvarnen i Uddevalla för verksamma cirkusartister med bas i Sverige!
/ It is now possible to apply for a residency during the spring of 2022 at Cirkuskvarnen in Uddevalla for circus artists based in Sweden!

Under residenset får artisterna tid för fokuserat arbete, reflektion, undersökande och utveckling av det egna konstnärliga uttrycket. Residenset behöver inte leda till en färdig föreställning. Specifika veckor för residenset bestäms i dialog mellan uttagen grupp/kompani och regional samordnare.
During the residency the artists will have time for focus, reflection and also research and developing work of their own artistical expression. The residency do not have to result in a complete performance/show. The specific time and weeks for the residency will be determined in dialogue between the artists and a regional coordinator.

Avsändare för residenset är: Riksteatern, Riksteatern Väst, Förvaltningen för kulturutveckling och Cirkus i Väst. Representanter från respektive organisation kommer att ingå i urvalsarbetet.
The organizers of the residency are: Riksteatern, Riksteatern Väst, Förvaltningen för kulturutveckling & Cirkus i Väst. Representatives from each organisation will take part in the selection of artists for the residenscy.

I RESIDENSET INGÅR:
INCLUDED IN THE RESIDENCY:

  • 14 dagars residenstid
    14 days time for the residency
  • Ett fast arvode på 50.000 kr
    Financial support of 50.000 SEK
  • Boende med plats för 4 personer
    Accommodation for 4 people
  • Ersättning för resor upp till 2000 kr per person för max 4 personer, mot redovisning av kvitto
    Compensation for travels, up to 2000 sek per person for maximum 4 persons, against display of receipts
  • Fri tillgång till "oktagonen" på Cirkuskvarnen (golvyta 100 kvm, takhöjd 10,5 m) med enklare ljudanläggning, samt kök, lounge, toalett, dusch
    Free access to "the octagon" at Cirkuskvarnen (floor area 100 kvm, height 10,5 m) with a simple sound system, and also a kitchen, lounge, toilet and shower

KRITERIER:
CRITERIA:

  • Professionella artister som är verksamma inom området cirkus, med bas i Sverige är välkomna att söka
    Circus artists based in Sweden are welcome to apply
  • Artisterna skall inneha F-skattesedel
    The artists shall have approval for F-tax
  • Det är en förutsättning att de sökande kan vara på plats under hela residensperioden
    The artists should be able to attend at Cirkuskvarnen during the full period for the residency
  • Artisterna förbinder sig att erbjuda något publikt (tex workshop, work in progress, samtal eller liknande)
    The artists shall commit themselves to one audience meeting (for exampel a workshop or work-in-progress)
  • Residens beviljas inte för projekt eller utbyten som genomförs vid universitet och högskolor
    The residecy is not for projects or exhanges that are carried out through universities or college
