Sign Language Arts 2025

Sign Language Arts 2025 – Advancing the Art of Sign Language

Riksteatern Crea are proud to present the return of Sign Language Arts – now with a dedicated theme, a seminar, and performances by 16 artists from all over the world.

Sign Language Arts Night

Date: November 29, 2025
Time: 18:00–00:00

The popular Sign Language Arts Night is back – an evening filled with poetry, visual vernacular (VV), and expressive sign language performances.

Following an intensive workshop, 16 international artists will present original works created through collaboration and experimentation. Each performance is shaped by diverse backgrounds and perspectives, resulting in a night that is more experimental, more personal, and more powerful.

Hosted by Amina Ouahid and Jamila Ouahid, the evening features a rich and varied program of sign language art, including visual storytelling, VV, poetic expression, and innovative forms.
