« V » is a genuine, sensitive and highly physical circus performance about the decision to break away from what was before.
Viivi cuts the rope: it’s like cutting ties with the past (leaving behind a homeland, a loved one, a family, a trauma, a past self). The path that follows becomes an open road where she takes the audience with her to those familiar places of excess, darkness, falls and fights.
For « V », Viivi Roiha has developed an innovative research with a 2,5 meter long rope that brings a sense of freedom to the floor work and a renewed feeling of danger for the aerial parts
