Två bröder. Två konstnärer. Två liv.
I dans- och teaterföreställningen I stort sett helt lika möter vi de identiska tvillingbröderna Clément och Guillaume Papachristou. Med värme, ärlighet och humor undersöker de sina likheter och olikheter och visar hur två konstnärer med helt olika fysiska förutsättningar kan skapa magi tillsammans på scen.
Bröderna Papachristou bjuder in oss till en ömsint och oförställd föreställning där de rör sig genom en berättelse om närhet, avstånd och det djupa band som förenar dem. Clément och Guillaume leker med våra föreställningar och blottar oväntade möjligheter hos varandra. Vad gör oss unika? Vad håller oss samman – och hur sköra är våra band? Genom att tänja på teaterns gränser skapar de en stark och öppen gemenskap, där publiken blir en del av föreställningen. Bröderna äger varje del av berättelsen och låter oss se världen ur perspektiv som sällan får plats på teaterscenen.
Clément är regissör och koreograf bosatt i Bryssel och Guillaume är engagerad i scenkonstprojekt i Marseille. Tillsammans arbetar de särskilt med konstnärer med olika förutsättningar – såsom Guillaume, som föddes med cerebral pares (CP). I november 2024 prisades I stort sett helt lika vid festivalen Fast Forward i Dresden. Bröderna Papachristou hyllades av båda jurygrupperna för sin nyskapande och gränsöverskridande scenkonstverk.

In the dance and theater performance Une tentative presque comme une autre, we meet the identical twin brothers Clément and Guillaume Papachristou. With warmth, honesty, and humor, they explore their similarities and differences, demonstrating how two artists with completely different physical abilities can create magic together on stage.
The Papachristou brothers invite us to a tender and unfiltered performance as they move through a story of closeness, distance, and the deep bond that connects them. Clément and Guillaume play with our perceptions and reveal unexpected possibilities within each other. What makes us unique? What holds us together – and how fragile are our bonds? By pushing the boundaries of theatre, they create a powerful and open sense of community, where the audience becomes part of the performance. The brothers take ownership of every aspect of the narrative, allowing us to see the world from perspectives rarely given space on stage.
Clément is a director and choreographer based in Brussels, while Guillaume is a dancer engaged in performing arts projects in Marseille. Together they work particularly with artists with different abilities - as Guillaume, who was born with cerebral palsy (CP).
In November 2024, Une tentative presque comme une autre was awarded at the Fast Forward festival in Dresden. The Papachristou brothers were praised by both jury panels for their innovative and boundary-breaking stage work.
