Educated Ether, en artificiell intelligens tränad av konstnärsduon Saloranta & de Vylder, har agerat dramatiker och dramaturg i denna vagt postapokalyptiska scenkonstföreställning där vi får följa en musiker, en operasångare och en akrobat i en gestaltning av det som är livet. Genom koreografi, sång, och akrobatik möter vi karaktärerna i deras känslor och mänskliga åtaganden – som att starta ett band, sälja försäkringar på en flygplats eller beskriva tillvarons outgrundlighet.
Saloranta & de Vylder (Olle Strandberg Colling och Sara de Vylder) ville skapa en scenkonstföreställning som kliver utanför deras eget kreativa ramverk men ändå rymmer deras personliga tonalitet och uttryck. De matade därför en egenutvecklad, icke-kommersiell AI-språkmodell med Olle Strandberg Collings samlade texter. AI:n Educated Ether som har hjälpt till att skriva föreställningen döpte den också till den långa titeln This is the Still Place Presenterar: Tomorrow Officially Sucks but Today is the Best (TOSBOT). Vi säger "TOSBOT" för enkelhetens skull.
Saloranta & de Vylder är ett konstnärligt samarbete mellan Sara de Vylder och Olle Strandberg Colling. Duon, som har ett delat konstnärligt ledarskap, står bakom bland annat krypto-cirkusprojektet The Sphere, The Cloud Jump AKA The Broken Neck Jump, samarbets-och innovationshubben Den Fantastiska Platsen och flertalet cirkus- och scenkonstproduktioner.

Educated Ether, an artificial intelligence trained by the artist duo Saloranta & de Vylder, has acted as playwright and dramaturge in this vaguely post-apocalyptic performing arts show where we follow a musician, an opera singer and an acrobat in an interpretation of life. Through choreography, song, and acrobatics, we meet the characters in their emotions and human commitments - like starting a band, selling insurance at an airport, or describing the inscrutability of existence.
Saloranta & de Vylder (Olle Strandberg Colling and Sara de Vylder) wanted to create a performing arts show that stepped outside of their own creative framework but still accommodated their personal tone and expression. They therefore fed a proprietary, non-commercial AI language model with Olle Strandberg Colling's collected texts. The AI Educated Ether that helped write the show also gave it the long title "This is the Still Place Presents: Tomorrow Officially Sucks but Today is the Best (TOSBOT)". We say "TOSBOT" for the sake of simplicity.
Saloranta & de Vylder is an artistic collaboration between Sara de Vylder and Olle Strandberg Colling. The duo, which has a shared artistic leadership, is behind the crypto-circus project The Sphere, The Cloud Jump AKA The Broken Neck Jump, the collaboration and innovation hub The Fantastic Place and several circus and performing arts productions.
