Residenstagare: Klara Mossberg, Henrik Agger och Louise Bjurholm von Euler

Under residenset på Riksteatern arbetar parakrobaterna Henrik Agger och Louise Bjurholm samt lindansare Klara Mossberg med att ta fram ett nytt verk med arbetsnamn On the third.

Verket baseras på ett tre veckor långt konstnärligt utvecklingsarbete som genomfördes av trion på Site Sweden i december 2023.

I On the third möts gruppens konstnärliga visioner och sammansmälter till en helhet på deras gemensamma arbetshöjd om två meter. Stålstruktur, kroppar och luftrum används på lika och olika villkor. En lindansare och två parakrobater.

Klara Mossberg är lindansare och luftakrobat och har sedan 2011 arbetat runt om i Europa i allt från musikal och opera till internationella, samtida cirkuskompanier och med egna projekt. Hon är utbildad i Frankrike och Sverige med en Kandidatexamen i Cirkus från Stockholms Konstnärliga Högskola (SKH). Hennes egen praktik kretsar kring att utveckla och vidga rörelsetekniken på spänd lina, att relatera cirkuskroppen till arkitektoniska förhållanden samt att kontextualisera cirkuskompetensen utanför scenrummet.

Akrobatduon Henrik Agger och Louise Bjurholm von Euler har arbetat tillsammans sedan 2001. De senaste tio åren har de koreograferat sina egna produktioner och framfört sina verk på festivaler och teatrar över hela världen. I sin konstnärliga praktik undersöker Henrik och Louise konsten att arbeta i par – rörelser, kroppar, mentala tillstånd. De är bl a utbildade vid Moscow state school of circus, Mimlinjen (SKH) Masterprogrammet New perfomative practices (SKH).

Hos Riksteatern påbörjades projektets andra residensperiod och tiden har använts till att arbeta med det fysiska materialet, utveckla ett gemensamt rörelsespråk, laborera med scenografin och ljussättningen.

Verket kommer att skapas hos Riksteatern, Subtopia Botkyrka och Site Sweden. I dagsläget är projektet finansierat av Stockholm Stad.

Circus residency

Residents: Klara Mossberg, Henrik Agger and Louise Bjurholm von Euler
Period: April 1–14, 2024

During the residency at Riksteatern, hand to hand artists Henrik Agger and Louise Bjurholm and tight wire artist Klara Mossberg are working on a new performance entitled On the third. The work is based on a 3-week long artistic development work carried out by the trio at Site Sweden in December 2023.

In On the third, the group's artistic visions meet and merge into a whole at their common working height of two meters. Steel structure, bodies and airspace are used on equal and different terms. One tight wire artist and two hand to hand artists.

Klara Mossberg is a tight wire artist and aerial acrobat and has since 2011 worked around Europe in everything from musicals and opera to international, contemporary circus companies and with her own projects. She is educated in France and Sweden with a bachelor’s degree in Circus from Stockholms Konstnärliga Högskola (SKH). Her own research revolves around developing and widening the movement technique and vocabulary of tight wire and setting the circus body in relation to architectural space.

The acrobatic duo Henrik Agger and Louise Bjurholm von Euler have been working together since 2001. For the past ten years, they have choreographed their own productions and performed their work at festivals and theaters around the world. In their artistic practice, Henrik and Louise explore the art of working in pairs – movements, bodies, mental states. They are educated at Moscow state school of circus, Mimlinjen (SKH) Master program New perfomative practices (SKH).

The project's second residency period began at Riksteatern, and the time has been used to work with the physical material, develop a common movement language, experiment with the scenography and lighting.

The work will be created at Riksteatern, Subtopia Botkyrka and Site Sweden. The project is currently funded by the City of Stockholm.
