Detta är cirkusresidens
Inom sitt uppdrag för det fria cirkusfältets utveckling erbjuder Riksteatern produktionsresidens på plats hos Riksteatern i Hallunda, regionala residens på olika platser i landet och ett så kallat skapandestöd.

Riksteaterns produktionsresidens
Riksteaterns produktionsresidens riktar sig till cirkusartister, cirkuskompanier och/eller regissörer
- som är skrivna i Sverige
- som har en produktion med behov av att repetera 1:1 i en teater/blackbox
- som har planerad premiär, speltillfällen, turné och/eller offentligt visningstillfälle
- där Riksteaterns produktionshus kan stödja repetitionsarbetet tekniskt enligt överenskommels
Produktionsesidens är på tre veckor och residenstagaren erbjuds en basutrustad teater/blackbox enligt en överenskommen teknisk specifikation. Denna kan inkludera enkelt ljus/ljud, lagt dansgolv/matta, residenstagarens rumsliga och eventuellt övriga tekniska önskemål.
Inför residenset erbjuds teknisk planeringssupport och viss teknisk support under residenset.
Produktionsmedel på 100 000 kronor ingår mot i förhand redovisad budget, teknisk specifikation och produktionsresidensplanering. Boendeersättning ingår också upp till totalt 10 000 kronor om residenstagaren eller någon i teamet ej är skriven i Stockholms län. Medlen betalas ut mot faktura.
Under sista veckan av residensperioden ingår en work in progress inklusive samtal med det konstnärliga teamet.
Regionala cirkusresidens
Riksteatern, i samarbete med regionala samarbetspartners, Riksteaternföreningar och andra cirkusorganisationer, erbjuder regionala residens. Residensperioden kan variera mellan en till flera veckor och artister erbjuds förutom residensplatsen även produktionsmedel, boendestöd och kunskapsstöd.
Riksteaterns skapandestöd
Riksteaterns skapandestöd erbjuder i mån av plats, en tom lokal under en period i Riksteaterns produktionshus i Hallunda. Finns det behov av teknik och/eller teknisk kompetens går detta att beställa mot en kostnad.

This is our residency
Within its mission for the development of the independent circus field, Riksteatern offers production residencies at Riksteatern in Hallunda, regional residencies around the country and a so-called creation support.

The Riksteatern's production residency
The Riksteatern's production residency is aimed at circus artists, circus companies and/or directors
- who are based in Sweden and who have a production with a need to rehearse 1:1 in a theater/black box
- which has a planned premiere, play dates, tour and/or public screening
- where the Riksteatern's production house can support the rehearsal work technically by agreement
The production period is three weeks and the resident is offered a basic equipped theater/black box according to an agreed technical specification. This may include simple light/sound, dance floor/mat, the resident's spatial and possibly other technical requirements. Technical planning support is offered prior to the residency and some technical support during the residency.
Production funds of SEK 100,000 are included against a pre-defined budget, technical specification and production residency planning. Accommodation reimbursement is also included up to a total of SEK 10,000 if the resident or a member of the team is not domiciled in Stockholm County. The funds are paid by invoice.
During the last week of the residency period, a work in progress is included, including discussions with the artistic team.
Regional circus residencies
Riksteatern, in collaboration with regional partners, Riksteatern associations and other circus organizations, offers regional residencies. The residency period can vary from one to several weeks and artists are offered production funds, housing support and expertise support in addition to the residency.
Riksteatern's creation support
Riksteatern's creation support offers, subject to availability, an empty room for a period in Riksteatern's production house in Hallunda. If there is a need for technology and/or technical expertise, this can be ordered at a cost.
